Mock Recruitment with Kappa Sigma!

Recruitment is just around the corner for Kappa Sigma and they would love to include us in their process!  In order to better prepare, they have invited the alumnae to participate in a mock recruitment, this coming Thursday, August 25th at 7:00 p.m. at their house.  They will be running through all of their rounds, practicing their conversation and event flow, plus, they will be performing their Preference ceremony for us!  Please RSVP to the E-Vite ASAP!  If you have any questions, feel free to comment here or email Emily Lorino at ztatlcemilyl@gmail.com.

During our first event this year, our VP of Service and Fundraising, Karen Lawrence Walker,  asked alumnae members to donate a few school supplies to a local charity.  We had an excellent turn out at our event, which meant we had an amazing amount of donations.  Thanks to the ZTA Tampa Alumnae, many students will have the supplies they need this school year!

Thank you to all the returning and new Tampa alumnae members for making our first event at The Grape a huge success!  With one of the largest events we have had, it looks like this year is going to be fun, exciting and Zeta-tastic!  We look forward to seeing you all again at our next event!  Pictures from the event to come!

Race for the Cure Shirt

Boutique Greek's McKara Calhoon has done it again!  She has created a tank and shirt for the Race for the Cure coming up in October.  Whether you're running, walking or volunteering, be sure to get your shirt of choice to let everyone know that you're a proud Zeta sister supporting breast cancer awareness and education!  Vote below!

Tampa Alumnae T-Shirt Design

During our very first meeting this past Thursday, Kappa Sigma alumna and Boutique Greek owner, McKara Calhoon presented the chapter with a number of t-shirt designs for us!  They're all great, however we need to pick one to unify us as the Tampa Alumnae.  Please vote in the poll on the side of the website for the shirt you would like to have best!

Keep in mind, the wording and phrases can be changed once the shirt is picked!

Recruitment Kick-Off Event!

Our very first event is right around the corner!  

Whether a new or returning alumna, join the Tampa area alumnae for our recruitment kick-off event.  Starting at 6:30 at the Grape, relax with some wine and your sisters for our first official meeting of the year.  Plus, important and exciting news will be discussed, as well!  We're looking forward to seeing you!

Facebook Fan Page

As some of you may have noticed, there have been a number of changes with the Facebook group.  The original group is being archived by Facebook, as it is the old layout for groups.  We then attempted to create another group with the new layout, however many alumnae were struggling to find the page!  Not okay!  Therefore, we have created a Fan Page.  This will allow current and future members to easily find our information, "like" the page, and learn more.  


As the page and blog progress, they will both be linked together.  This way,  no matter if you're checking Facebook or the blog, you will be in the loop on all alumnae events!
